Iridiacom exhibits
at Convergence Summit Show
Harpenden, UK 9th September 2005
Iridiacom exhibited at the Convergence Summit show on
6th and 7th September 2005 in Coventry.
The show proved very successful with record attendance figures
which proves that many companies are looking for new products to add
to their portfolio.
Iridiacom announced a partnership agreement
with the communications solutions division of B.O.S. (Better Online
Solutions Ltd). Iridiacom have been appointed the exclusive
Distributor for the BOS range of VoIP Claro Gateways in the UK.
VoIP Gateway technology provides the ability to connect telephone
calls between sites over both public and private data circuits,
achieving high quality voice calls at zero cost. BOS gateways act as
the central pipeline in the system, transparently routing calls
along the path of least cost. These gateways integrate seamlessly
with existing infrastructure to provide the least disruptive means
of migrating to advanced telephony technology. For end users, this
means no change in their familiar work environment. For enterprises,
this translates into a more affordable, attractive investment, as
VoIP products fit in neatly with existing systems and equipment.
Alan Doyle, Iridiacom's Managing Director said, “…we exhibited at
the show and were very pleased at the response we received. We had
interest in the Telrad Unite IP system especially the new Version
3.0 software release that adds SIP support to the system. There was
also a lot of interest in the BOS Claro VoIP gateways that allows
companies to implement VoIP now without the need for upgrades to
their existing PBX infrastructure."
