DECT

DECT stands for Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications, and adopts technology similar to GSM for mobile phones. It is a European standard, recognised worldwide as a benchmark for high quality cordless communication. With a network of Base Stations on your premises - determined by coverage requirements and density of usage, DECT users can roam freely even whilst on a call, confident that the call will remain connected (DECT Roaming and Handover), secure and without interference. There are no licensing requirements, and no danger of co-channel interference.

Freedom to Roam without Losing Contact

Your staff may not always be available at their desks throughout the day, but still have to be contactable - managers, warehouse staff, technicians etc. No problem; using powerful DECT cordless technology from Telrad Connegy, internal and external calls can be made and received anywhere on your premises.

Never Miss a Sales Opportunity

Calls can be transferred to your staff for immediate attention to those important sales enquiries. Impress your customers with your efficiency, and they will be keen to do business with such a responsive, customer-focussed company.

4020 and 4040 Handsets

The Avanti 4020 and 4040 wireless phones are ideal for moving around the facilities while staying in touch. With their high quality sound, low transmission power, large screen, and secure digital transmission, it provides a superior alternative to using a cellular phone.

With its silver body and sturdy construction, the Avanti 4040 complies with the I54 classification standard for dust and water protection.

In addition to full support of all AdvanceIP telephone functions, the Avanti wireless handsets provide auto-login capacity, which enables you to travel among AdvanceIP sites in a network, with the telephone being automatically recognized by the local system.

Both handsets also provide a 200-entry telephone book, 10 menu languages for local functions, temperature-compensated charging and more.

When configured as a secondary extension and while placed in their cradle, the phones are turned off and all calls are directed to the primary extension, which could be an Avanti or an i.Picasso. But as soon as an Avanti 4020 or 4040 is lifted from the cradle, all incoming calls are directed to it, complete with caller ID forwarding and all other advanced options, in a fully transparent way.

At less than 4.5 oz of weight, the 4020 and 4040 are easy to carry around. The rechargeable battery provides for 90 hours of operation in stand-by mode, or 20 hours of usage.
