The Telrad TVAS system offers "meet-me" audio conference solutions for organizations with VoIP networks or converged networks. It is a standalone product intended for the enterprise market, with standard H.323 connectivity to any equipment that conforms to the standard. Meet-me service provides the capability to hold audio conferences from distant locations using traditional TDM-based or next-generation Internet Protocol (IP) phones.

TVAS supports various types of meetings including those with defined start and end times, ad-hoc conferences, and permanent or "always on" meetings. More than one active meeting can exist simultaneously on the same card, limited only by the total port capacity. The new product combines Telrad's feature-rich application, which incorporates years of field experience and customers feedback, with a new state-of-the-art hardware platform optimized for VoIP connectivity.

The M825xx integrates signalling, packet processing and signal processing functions, handling up to 64 channels of highly compressed packet voice and up to 512 channels of traditional TDM voice channels on a single chip. Software bundled with the device, developed and tested to carrier class standards, provides the full range of wireline voice codecs.
