When incoming calls are mainly handled by one or more designated operators or receptionists, Telrad Connegy can provide a true replacement to the traditional switchboard, using a specially programmed executive keyphone, or the PC Based Operator's Console.

With the aid of logical queues, softkey operation, an expanded display and user programmable buttons, the operator can cope quickly and efficiently with high volumes of call traffic.

Calls to the console can either be answered in First In First Out order, or out of sequence using the logical queues - also known as Incoming Call Inidicators. Calls are presented to the ICI queues according to trunk line, ISDN DDI number, internal extension number, or Calling Line Identity (Using CTI)
