Wisecom, has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Telrad Connegy Ltd an innovative developer and manufacturer of Voice over IP Business Communication systems based in Petah Tikva Israel.

Telrad Connegy has been producing business communication systems for in excess of 50 years and as well as a proven heritage is also well known for innovative solutions including the current Advance IP range of business communication and Voice over IP systems. Telrad Connegy sells throughout the world with a number of Distributors and resellers in a wide range of countries spanning Europe, Russia, Africa, America and Asia

Koresh Avrahami CEO of Wisecom said “We are very pleased to acquire Telrad Connegy as we have been working with them for several years and we have always been impressed with their innovate approach to the Business Communication Systems market, they have always ‘punched above their weight’ and the range of features and options means they are competitive in any market they enter. We will be investing heavily in the areas of Operations and Research and Development and we hope to build on the proven heritage of Telrad Connegy and grow and develop the markets throughout the world”.

Avrahami continued “The marketplace throughout the world is under severe financial pressure due to the economic situation but we feel with the Advance IP product range and some of the advanced features such as IP and Unified Communications we can demonstrate to customers a return on their investment so any purchase made is indeed future proof”

The Advance IP system can be used by a wide range of business users and can be configured from 10 all the way up to 1000 users and supports Voice over IP from IP Telephones, soft clients to mobile SIP users. The system also provides advanced Unified Messaging features and has a fully scalable call centre solution that provides Computer Telephony integration into customer’s existing software solutions.

Iridiacom are the UK distributors for the Telrad Connegy range and MD Alan Doyle said “This is great news for Telrad Connegy resellers as it confirms the future strength of the product and we are looking forward to working closely with Wisecom to help shape the future roadmap of the Advance IP product.
